Still need convincing?

105 years of development.

Over the past 105 years, the Washington and Lee University Mock Convention has developed into an organization of interdisciplinary study and research held high in national regard. With your support, Mock Convention 2016 will continue this unique tradition of passion and excellence.

95% of W&L students.

Almost the entire W&L student body will offer their mental energy and physical labor to bring this organization to life, producing a stunningly accurate result while gaining an unparalleled real-world education. We've set a high bar; your support will help us reach it.

Countless traditions.

Mock Convention will jump start the process with Spring Kick-Off, invigorate the town of Lexington with the Convention Parade, and celebrate with the best at the Presidential Gala. All these and more are made possible by your generous donations.

What can you do to help?

Our goal for Mock Convention 2020 is $400,000.

That number represents 70% of the Mock Con budget, and it's up to us, the student leaders, to raise it.

10% of our overall funds are allocated from the university, plus  about 20% generated by Mock Con endowment interest. The remaining 70% comes from your donations and purchases. That's how we arrived at $400,000 for private, monetary contributions.

It's a serious goal, and we need your help to reach it. Whether it's $5, $50, or $5,000, every donation brings us one step closer to hosting the best convention yet. Will you join us?

How you can help:

  1. A monetary contribution of any amount. Donors who give $100 or more will be recognized by level of giving. Click here for details on donation incentives.
