Frequently Asked Questions

Have some questions about the application process? See below to see the answers for the most common questions we receive, and don’t forget to apply before Friday, January 18th, 2019.

Can I still apply if I am going abroad?

It depends on when you are going abroad, and what position you are applying to. For most positions (like State Chairs and Auction Chair) the position requires you to be on campus. However, if you believe you are the best person to fill a position even though you are going abroad, tell us why on your application!

Can I apply to multiple positions?

Yes! We encourage students to apply to as many positions as you are interested in. Of course, it is important to remember that each of your applications will be viewed and considered separately, so it is important to include all of your information in every application that you submit.

When will I hear back if I get an interview?

We will inform students whether they have made it to the interview round by January 25, 2019.

How do I apply?

All applications must be submitted on Handshake.com. If you do not already have an account on Handshake, you must create one in order to apply. If you have any problems with this process, reach out to Randy Karlson at rkarlson@wlu.edu.
